Mrs. Bertha Blanch Baker, 46, wife of the well-known creamery operator, Charles C. Baker, died early Saturday morning at the family residence, 424 East Centennial Ave.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday at the First Christian Church, North and Elm Sts., with the Reverend W.J. Young officiating. The Reverend N.S. Trambarger will assist in the services. Entombment will be in Elm Ridge Mausoleum.
Mrs. Baker was a member of the First Christian Church and taught a Sunday school class there. Her death came only two hours after she became seriously ill with indigestion. The body was taken to Meeks Mortuary and was returned to the residence Saturday afternoon.
