ALMA M. BAKER
Alma M. Baker, 76, Fort Wayne, who had several nephews and nieces in this area, was dead on arrival Wednesday in a McAllen, Texas, hospital, due to a heart attack.
The Jay County native married Omer Baker on September 23, 1933; he survives. Also surviving are three sisters, and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services are at 2 p.m. Sunday in Blackhawk Baptist Church, Fort Wayne, with burial in Albany, Indiana. Visiting hours at D. O. McComb and Sons, Foster Park Funeral Home, Fort Wayne, are 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Saturday. There is also visitation from 1-2 p.m. Sunday at the church. Preferred memorials are to the church.
Local funeral arrangements are by Haggard and Armes Funeral Home.
