Mrs. Anderson was born in Kansas, the daughter of Charles and Etta Branson Baldwin.
She was raised in Kansas and went to school there, but moved to Albany near the end of World War II.
She married Oliver Robert "Bob" Anderson in Albany on June 6, 1948. He died in September 1984.
Mrs. Anderson and her family moved to Klamath Falls in 1959, where she and her husband ran a photography studio until 1966, when they returned to Albany. She worked in various veterans organizations in Klamath Falls and Albany, especailly the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
Mrs. Anderson was a member of the VFW, American Legion, Order of the Cooties auxiliaries in Klamath Falls and Albany. Mrs. Anderson was a past Noble Grand-Rebekahs (International Order of Oddfellows IOOF) in Klamath Falls.
Her hobbies included gardening, especially flowers, sewing, crocheting and making homemade wine. In later years, she liked to read, do crossword puzzles and watch John Wayne videos.
Survivors include her sons, Oliver Anderson, Robert Anderson and Wesley Rich all of Albany; sisters, Betty Parrett of Albany, Marjorie Davis of Portland, Margot Burt of Albany, Pauline King of Corvallis; and one grandchild.
