DUNBOG has the grave of General Nisbet Balfour (1744-1823. He was the laird of Dunbog, from a cadet branch of the Barons Balfour of Burleigh. He is buried to the side of his sister Euphemia and his great-nephew William Stewart Balfour.
Euphemia (or Euphan) was christened in Dunbog Parish on 1st January 1750. She was buried on 23rd January 1829 in Dunbog Churchyard.
