CHILDRESS - Helen Ball ALLEN, 83, died Wednesday, July 16, 2003.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday in First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Johnny Robertson, of the church, officiating. Graveside services will be at 4 p.m. in Heart Cemetery of Booker by Johnson Funeral Home.
Mrs. ALLEN was born July 29, 1919, in Buffalo, Oklahoma. She was a schoolteacher in Texas and Oklahoma.
Survivors include her husband, Ivan; two sons, Charles Roy ALLEN of San Antonio and Roger Keith ALLEN of Lake Jackson; a daughter, Leta Ruth LOYD of Durham, North Carolina; and a sister, Hazel BELL of Huntsville, Alabama.
