Mrs. Alexander died at 1:25 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 10, 2004, in Covenant Hospital.
She was born June 16, 1918, in Burneyville, Okla., where she lived until 1929 when she moved to the Plains and settled in Olton. She moved to Plainview in 1963 and worked at the old Plainview Hospital. She also sat with the elderly.
She was a member of First Assembly of God Church.
Her husband, Roy Floyd Green, died in 1950.
Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Peggy and Edward Alexander of Plainview; a brother, Louie Ball of Lubbock; two grandchildren and spouses, Donna and Bobby Craft and Gary and Sheila Alexander, all of Plainview; and four great-grandchildren, Krista and Lindsey Craft and Hayden and Bracken Alexander.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. today at Lemons Funeral Home. Memorials are suggested to Northside Baptist Church or First Assembly of God Church.
