Mr. Ball was born Aug. 16, 1923 in Harrietta to Warren and Ila Ball.
He was a graduate of Mesick School and served in the Navy during World War II. Later Mr. Ball joined the 11th Airborne, served in the Army during the Korean War, completed two tours of duty in Vietnam and retired from the military at Fort Huachuca, Ariz.
Survivors include his sons, David (Martha) Ball of Sierra Vista, Ariz., and Roger (Ginger) Ball of Albuquerque, N.M.; daughter, Meleia Myers of Lancaster, Pa.; brother, Warren Ball Jr. of Harrietta; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his brother; parents; and wife of 54 years.
Interment was in the Cochise Memory Gardens in Sierra Vista, Ariz.
Arrangements were made by Hatfield Funeral Home in Sierra Vista, Ariz.
