Services will be held at Trinity Baptist Church Saturday, March 10, 2012, at 2:00 PM. Brother Roy Mitchell will be officiating. Interment will be in the family plot at Byers, TX.
Laurel is preceded in death by her father, Vernon Thelbert Ballew; brother, Charles Thelbert Ballew, and husband, Paul Winslow Adair Sr. Also grandsons, Christopher Martin and Scooter Adair.
Surviving Laurel is mother, Verneece Ballew; sister, Lois Sappington and husband, Gregg of Tucumcari, NM. Also son, Paul W. Adair Jr. of Big Springs, TX; daughter, Laurette Kennedy and husband, Randal of Valle, AZ, and sons, Robert Adair of Big Springs, TX, and Terrance Adair of Andrews. TX. Laurel had 6 grandchildren, Scooter, Adam, Kim, Johnny, Chris, and Ryan. Also 7 great grandchildren.
She is also survived by nephews, Leif Gray and wife, Angelica and daughter, Gabby of Tucumcari, NM, and Charles Thelbert Ballew of Houston, TX, and children, Charles III, Samantha, and Miranda. Also nieces, Heather Smith and daughter, Katrina of Tucumcari, NM, and Sharon Kirby and Ashley of Houston, TX, and may other relatives and friends.
