Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 2, at Bethany Lutheran Church in Joice, with Pastor Randy Baldwin officiating. Burial will be in Concordia Cemetery, rural Joice.
Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the church on Tuesday.
Senoma K. (Bang) Kittleson Anonson was born on Nov. 19, 1921, in rural Joice, to Oscar and Galena (Evenson) Bang. She attended Larson No. 3 country school and graduated from Joice High School in 1939.
On March 19, 1943, Senoma and Orin W. Kittleson were united in marriage. Four children were born to this union: Diana, Gloria, Kathleen, and Kenneth.
Senoma spent many years farming alongside her husband Orin, and worked for twenty years at Deluxe Products in Lake Mills, retiring in 1980.
Orin passed away on May 15, 1978.
Senoma was united in marriage to Spencer Anonson of Joice, on Sept. 3, 1983. She and Spencer spent many years summering at their residence on Leach Lake, Walker, Minn., where they loved fishing, visiting friends, and going to garage sales.
Senoma will always be remembered for her loving heart and kindness to all. She loved to play the accordion, gardening, cooking, and baking. She was known for her homemade lefse, donuts, bread, and potato salad. She was a true supporter of her children and loved them and her grandchildren dearly.
She was a longtime member of Bethany Lutheran Church in Joice, and was a member of several clubs and circles in the Joice area prior to her move into the Good Samaritan Society over eleven years ago.
Survivors include her husband, Spencer Anonson of Joice; daughters, Diana (Tom) Fischer of Joice, Gloria (Larry) Kearney of Forest City, and Kathy (Tom) McCartney of Eugene, Ore.; a son, Ken Kittleson of Sparta, Wis.; grandchildren, Tamara Fischer Duncan of San Antonio, Texas, Devin Fischer of Altoona, Richard (Joni) Miller of Forest City, and Jared (Melissa) Kearney of Forest City; six great-grandchildren; a brother-in-law, John (Lorna) Kittleson of Postville; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Senoma is also survived by Spencer's children, Barry (Terry) Anonson and Mardene Lien, all of Joice; grandchildren, Jill (Guy) Bodwell, Jon (Kelly) Anonson, Jake (Jill) Anonson, Elizabath (Chris) Field, Missy (Ryan) Joynt, Carrie (Jeremy) Smith, and Sarah (Steve) Hagen; and fifteen great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Oscar and Galena Bang; husband, Orin Kittleson; sisters, Adeline (Ancel) Aasland and Opal (Lloyd) Sande; and a brother, Helmer (Velva) Bang..
