Visitation will be from 10:30 a.m. until service time at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, September 22, at N.J. Ford & Sons Funeral home. Burial in West Tennessee Veterans Cemetery, Monday at 9:30 a.m. He was an Army veteran. He leaves his wife, Charline Bankston of Memphis; one son, John Bankston, Jr. of Detroit, MI; one sister-in-law; two nieces; and a host of cousins, other relatives, and friends. N.J.
