RICHARD ALLEN BANKS, 47, of Brighton, operations manager for Daco Trailer Leasing and firefighter for Three Star Fire Department, died Thursday at Methodist Healthcare-University Hospital. Services will be at 7 p.m. Monday at Munford Funeral Home with burial in West Tennessee Veterans Cemetery at 2 p.m. Tuesday. He was a retired Marine Corps veteran and member of Edgewood Baptist Church in Asheville, N.C. Mr. Banks, the husband of Peggy Morrison Banks, also leaves three sons, Scott Edward Banks of San Diego, David Lafe Banks of Yuma, Ariz., and John Allen Banks of Collierville; a stepdaughter, Shanalynn Salmon of Brighton; a stepson, Christopher Shane Martin of Russellville, Ark.; his mother, Barbara G. Banks, and a sister, Deborah Banks Vanslyke, both of Asheville; a brother, Robert David Banks of Millington, and seven grandchildren.
