CORRINNE "Cody" M. BANKS, 75, died Wednesday, July 30, 2008, at St. Francis Hospital. She was preceded in death by her husband, Don S. Banks, and her two sons; Richard Wayne Banks and Mark Stephens Banks. She was a Catholic and the loving mother of her daughter, Marie Pettit (Bill) and her son, Ronny Banks (Marybeth). She is also survived by her sister, Dorothy Gowen (Ken) of Oxford, MS; five grandchildren, Wendy Gabb (Ralph), Jenny Pettit, Ellen Banks, Nathan Harper, Brandon Wayne Banks; and one great-granddaughter Madeline Banks. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Thursday, July 31 at Canale Funeral Directors with a Rosary service to follow at 7 p.m. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Friday, August 1 at Canale Funeral Chapel with burial to follow in Memory Hill Gardens. The family requests memorials be sent to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
