CHARLES A. BANKS JR., 86, of 4734 Neely, retired paint supervisor for the University of Memphis, died of cancer Friday at his home. R. S. Lewis & Sons Funeral Home has charge. He was a member of Collins Chapel CME Church. Mr. Banks, the husband of Carnell E. Banks, also leaves a son, Charles A. Banks III of Memphis, three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
