Caroline T. Baquet, nee Gantner, 94, of Centralia, formerly of Belleville, died Thursday, December 8, 1988, at St. Mary's Hospital in Centralia.

She was a charter member of St. Teresa's Catholic Church in Belleville, Life member of the Perpetual Help Sodality of St. Teresa's Church, member of St. Mary's Church in Centralia, member of St. Mary's Altar Sodality and the Newman Auxiliary.

Preceding her in death were her husband, Matthew E. Baquet on August 14, 1945; her parents, George and Anna, nee Lill, Gantner; four sisters, Elizabeth Epple, Anna McCann, Emma Gantner and Josephine Fisher and a brother, William Gantner.

Surviving are a daughter, Bernice E. Denzler of Centralia; two grandsons, Walter Denzler of Decatur and Richard Denzler of Centralia and six great grandchildren.

Funeral procession to leave at 10:45 a.m. Monday from the George Renner and Sons Funeral Home in Belleville to St. Teresa's Church for an 11 a.m. mass with Fr. Edward Schaefer officiating. Burial will be in Green Mount Catholic Cemetery in Belleville.

Friends may call after 8a.m. Monday until time of service at the funeral home.
