Peabody-- Miss Andrea E. Barbeau, 74, formerly of Calumet St., died Tuesday at the Devreaux Nursing Home, Marblehead, after a long illness.
Born in Peabody, daughter of the late Joseph anjd josephine (Thibeault) Barbeau, she was a lifelong resident of this city.
Employed at the former Danvers Bleachery in Peabody and later was a clerk for the Commonwealtyh of Mass. Dep't. of Public Works in Boston for 20 years, prior to retiring nine years ago.
Former member of the St. John's Ladies Sodality.
Surviving her: sisters, Ida and Julia Barbeau, both of Peabody; a brother, Ernest barbeau of Lynn; four nieces and four nephews. Sister also of the late Rita Barbeau, who died last September.
Funeral Mass in St. John's Church Friday. Burial in St. Mary's Cemetery, SWalem.
