Mrs. ARTHUR BARBEAU
Mrs. Arthur Barbeau, 73, the former Ada Adams Gallett, died unexpectedly Sunday morning at her home in the Lyons District. A daughter of Byron and Debora (Green) Adams, she was born in Shaftsbury May 10, 1892.
Her education had been received in Shaftsbury schools and her home and family had been her main interests. She was married to Alfred Gallett who died Feb 14, 1946. On Aug 20, 1949 she married Mr. Barbeau in St. Peter's Episcopal Church.
Survivors are her husband, Arthur J. Barbeau; three sons, Chester, Earl and Francis Gallett, all of Bennington; one daughter, Mrs. William (Helen) Krawczyk; two stepdaughters, Mrs. James (Rita) Lathrop, Miss Corrine Barbeau; two stepsons, Maurice and Donald Barbeau; one sister, Mrs. Sally Harrington; nine grandchildren, five great grandchildren, nieces and nephews, all of Bennington.
The funeral will be held in St. Peter's Episcopal Church at 11 am Wednesday. Entombment will be in Park Lawn Chapel and burial will be in that cemetery in the spring.
Calling hours at Mahar & Son Funeral Home are tonight from 7 to 9 and Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm.
