He was a member of Giloboa Baptist Church in Canmer, Ky. He retired from Chrysler Corp., where he was a tool and die maker. He was a member of the UAW Local 1166.
Both parents and one brother, the Rev. Willie Barbour, preceded him in death.
He is survived by his wife, Sandra Evelyn Barbour, Elkhart; son, Raymond Tyrone Barbour (Brandee), South Bend; brothers, James F. Barbour (Sarah), Louisville, Ky., Wayne F. Barbour, Louisville, Ky., Lewis Douglas Barbour (Maggie), Canmer, Ky., Joe T. Barbour (Mary Jo), Swayzee, Lonnie E. Barbour (Mildred), Kokomo, and Tony B. Barbour (Deborah), Indianapolis; sisters, Shirley B. Thompson (Robert), Canmer, Ky., Eunice Louise Barbour, Louisville, Ky., and Remona C. Barbour, Louisville, Ky.; and four grandchildren.
Services will be noon Saturday at Mount Pisgah Missionary Baptist Church. Pastor Lonnie Anderson will be the officiant. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday. Burial will be in Crown Point Cemetery.
