Completed preparation for college at Watervill Acadamy, under the instruction of Isaac S. Hamblen (class of 1858).
He was a diligent and successful student, of exemplary conduct and spotless charachter.
1862, Nov. Took charge, as Principal, of "Masonic Charitable Institute," in Effingham, N. H., in which capacity he labored successfully till his death.
He carried on the study of medicine, while at Effingham, and was nearly ready for graduation at a Medical College, and for entrance upon practice.
Died, Apr. 11, 1867, at Effingham, of tuberculous deposit upon the brain, accompanied by paralysis.
Married, Aug. 20, 1864, Miss Exa L. Drake, of Effingham.
Child: A son, 17 months old at his father's decease.
