Frances E. P. Allison, 83, of Coatesville, died Thursday, March 10, 2005, at Brandywine Hospital.
She was the wife of Paul R. Allison, who died in 1969.
Born in Coatesville, she was the daughter of the late William and Daisy Speakman Barkley. Frances worked for 20 years as a secretary at the Salvation Army in Coatesville, and enjoyed playing bingo at Westwood Fire Company.
She is survived by two daughters, Jacqueline L. Johnson, wife of Gerald, of Coatesville, and Audrey L. Allison of Coatesville; a son, Paul R. Allison, husband of Mary, of Coatesville; a brother, Charles Barkley of Coatesville; a great-granddaughter, Desirre Hughes, whom she raised; 16 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Leona Hughes.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 16, 2005, at the Harris-Mountain Funeral Home, 1030 E. Lincoln Highway, Coatesville, 610-384-1091.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 10 to 11 a.m.
Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery, Coatesville.
