Martha Lehman Barksdale Archer, 88, a lifelong resident of Chattanooga, TN passed away Tuesday, October 13, 2009 in a local healthcare facility.
She was a graduate of Lakeview High School, was of the Baptist faith, and was associated with Hamilton National bank now 1st Tennessee for many years.
She was preceded in death by her 1st husband Charles Barksdale, and her last husband Robert Archer, and a son Charles Lewis Barksdale, daughter Barbara Archer; parents Christian Albert Lehman and Della Underwood Lehman.
She is survived by her sons Tom Archer, Chattanooga, TN; Richard (Annie) Archer of Florida; Robert (Susan) Archer of Nashville, TN; sister Betty Sue Lehman of Harrison, TN; brothers Bill (Emily) Lehman of Ooltewah, TN; Jack and Joe Lehman of Harrison, TN. Several grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Thursday, October 15, 2009 in the J. Avery Bryan Chapel.
Burial to follow in Greenwood Cemetery.
Visitation will be Wednesday, October 14, 2009 from 4 to 8 p.m.
