MISS MONTEREY BARNES
The remains of Miss Monterey Barnes, who died at a local infirmary on Friday morning, were taken to her home in Gallatin at noon Friday for interment in the Gallatin cemetery, funeral services to be held at her home on Franklin street at 10 o’clock in the morning.
The deceased was the only daughter of the late James and Addie Barnes, having been born and reared in Gallatin, where she was much beloved during her girlhood and young womanhood. Although her illness extended over a period of several months, the news of her death has come as a sudden shock to her many friends.
