Mrs. Louise Barnes Allen, 87, a resident of Hedgemont Avenue, Fayetteville, died Monday (September 18, 2000) at her residence home. A housewife and member of the Fayetteville Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church, she was the daughter of the late Hugh Tom and Cleo Minatree Barnes. Survivors include a son, Rex Allen, of Fayetteville; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by two sons, Tommy Lee Allen and Jimmy Ray Allen.
Funeral services were held Thursday morning at Higgins Funeral Home with Dr. Calvin Todd and Rev. Dwight Smith officiating. Burial was in Riverview Memorial Gardens. Higgins Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
