A. Wendell Barnett, age 69, of Brownston, Indiana, passed away on June 30 at his residence. He was born April 29, 1922 in Wayne County Kentucky as the son of Charles Barnett and Mary Smith Barnett.
He worked 22 years at Arvins in Seymour, Indiana and retired in 1984 from Seymour manufacturing after 10 years.
He married Doris Londot on July 1, 1944 in Brownston, Indiana.
Survivors include his wife; one son, Wayne; two grandsons; four brothers, Willard, Estel, Bobby and Wes; six sisters, Ann Ruth Porter, Aline Gray, Shirley York, Juanita Holman, Emma Guffey and Ida Lynch.
He was preceded in death by one sister.
Funeral services were held Tuesday with burial in the Fairview Cemetery.
