Alphard Louis Barnett, 72, of Tremont, died Jan. 26, 1987 at Red Bay Hospital in Red Bay, Ala. He was a lumber yard worker and a former U.S. Army paratrooper. Services were Jan. 28 at Mount Olive Methodist Church with burial in Mount Olive Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Retha Mae Barnett of Tremont; one sister, Lucy Dobbs of Ocean Springs; 18 nieces and nephews.
