Born Tuesday January 14, 1930 in Worcester, she was the daughter of the late Louis D. Baron and Pamelia E. Bercume.
Arlene has lived in Brockton for the past 71 years. She was a graduate of Brockton High School and of Bridgewater State School of Nursing. She worked for many years as a nurse’s aide in several nursing homes in Brockton. She was also the Matriarch of the Cowasuck Band Pennacook/Abenaki People. She enjoyed reading, drawing, listening to opera music, and most of all spending time with her family.
She is survived by six children, eleven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
Her funeral service will be held on Friday September 12, 2014 at 10 AM at Dahlborg-MacNevin Funeral Home, 647 Main Street, Brockton, followed by interment in Melrose Cemetery, Brockton. Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 11th from 6-9 PM at Dahlborg-MacNevin Funeral Home.
