Son of the late Joaquin and Maria Sylvia Barradas, he was banker retiring as a vice president for Bank of Boston. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Alice F. Barradas Butler. He was survived by his wife of 58 years, Joan F. Callahan Barradas (married on October 17, 1953); a daughter, JoAnn M. Foster; two grandchildren, Alaina Wright and Tiffany Foster; a great-granddaughter, Rowan Wright; a brother, John Barradas; and an extended family of relatives and friends. He served 15 years with the Massachusetts National Guard. He was an ardent golfer.
