Originally from France, he was one of 114 French clergymen sent to New Mexico by the United States Catholic Church.

Came to America, arriving 1 Oct 1904 in New York on the ship La Savoie.

Served as Pastor of Our Lady of Lourdes Parish (Benson, AZ) from 1909-1912

1920 Census shows him in Costilla, NM


Was a spokesman for the rights of the citizens and helped with the struggle over water rights.
