Age 53, compensation attorney for the US Fidelity and Guaranty Company died suddenly after suffering a heart attack at his home, 820 Sumner Ave., Syracuse. Born in Warsaw and moved his family to Silver Springs where he lived during his early years. Graduated from Geneseo Normal school and studied law in the office of Woodruff and Greff. Admitted to the bar in Rochester 11/14/1910 and became manager of Rochester office of the London Guaranty & Accident Insurance Co. Until he moved to Syracuse he served as president of the Adjusters Club of Rochester. Surviving are his widow, Miss Belle T. Barratt; a daughter, Mrs. Lois Barratt; a brother, George Barratt of Silver Springs and a sister, Mrs. Anna Tarplee of Perry.
