Lois Amos, 88, of Danville passed away Nov. 5, 2009, at Vermilion Manor Nursing Home.
She was born Oct. 29, 1921 in Tilton, il. to Elza and Ruby McIntosh Barrett. She married Charles Amos on Nov. 23, 1939. He preceded her in death on Feb. 6, 1999.
Survivors include two daughters, Lois Ann (Tom) Collins of Riverton and Charlene "Sue" (Larry) Warner of Danville; two sisters, Wanda Berry of Danville and Peggy (Gerald) Baldwin of Stateline, Il.; five grandchildren, Brian (Pam) Warner, Cathy Warner, Amy Warner all of Danville, and Cindy Collins of Florida and Michael Collins of Chicago and six great-grandchildren, Charlie, Amber, Ashley, Katelynn, Brian Scott, and Erik.
She was also preceded in death by her parents, four sisters and a brother.
