DOROTHY A. BARRETT, 71, of Charlesgate East Apartments, Randall Street, a bookkeeper for Cardello, Nanni & Riccitelli, Cranston, for many years until she retired, died yesterday at Miriam Hospital.
She was the wife of the late Stanley P. Barrett.
Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Walter F. and Martha A. (Hill) Barrie, she lived in Providence for 10 years and previously lived in West Kingston for 30 years.
Mrs. Barrett had been a bookkeeper for Carpenter & Wood Co. She had been employed by the former New York, New Haven and Hartford Railroad at the West Kingston Station for many years.
She was a communicant of St. Ann Church, Cranston.
She is survived by a son.
She was the sister of the late Walter J. Barrie.
