Aged Grand Coteau Lady Dies Thursday

News reached here Thursday night of the death of Mrs. John Joseph Barry, aged 65 years, one of the best known and most highly esteemed residents of the Grand Coteau section. Mrs. Barry had been in bad health for a number of years and while the end was not unexpected it came as a distinct shock to her many friends and relatives throughout St. Landry and surrounding parishes. Funeral services were conducted at the Sacred Heart church, Grand Coteau, Friday evening with interment in the Grand Coteau cemetery immediately following.
