"Alvin J. Barry, of Lowell, died unexpectedly Friday. He was born in Barton, VT, and had been a resident of Lowell for over half a century establishing his residence at 16 Cabot St. By occupation before his retirement, he had been an employee of the Solazzo Landscaping Company for several years. He was a communicant and parishoner of St. Jean Baptiste parish. He is survived by one sister, Mars. Hazel Pavelka of Lowell."
Tremblay Funeral Home (744 Merrimack St.) was in charge of funeral hours. Prayers of the Dead were recited at the funeral home with committal prayers at the Chapel in St. Joseph's Cemetery Monday at 9AM where burial was to take place.
