COLUMBUS - Dr. Jonathan Brooks Bartlett, 37, of 3613 Willis Road, died Monday in a local hospital. Born in Macon, he had taught at Columbus College the past seven years. He was assistant professor in the Music Department at Columbus College. He was a member of the National Association of Teacher's Singing. He received his master's degree at Georgia State University and his doctorate in music at the Eastman School of Music in Rochester, N.Y. He was a Baptist. Survivors: parents, Everette C. and Catherine Spann Bartlett of Macon; and brother, Walter E. Bartlett of Macon. Services: 11 a.m. today in McMullen Mortuary, Columbus. Burial: 4 p.m. today in Riverside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Schwob Music Department at Columbus College.
