Alvin L. Bartlett, age 70, of McDonough, GA passed away on Thursday, March 31, 2016. He was born in Atlanta, GA to the late Robert F. and Mary Catherine Duke Bartlett. He was also preceded in death by his grandchildren, James Bartlett and Eric Bartlett. Alvin was a sergeant in the United States Army serving in Viet nam. for many years he was a Police officer with the Henry County Police Department, later working for old Dominion Freight Line as a long haul team driver with his wife for 15 years.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00PM on Sunday, April 3, 2016 at Prospect United Methodist Church with Ronnie Brannan officiating. Interment will follow at Prospect United Methodist Church Cemetery.
