Agnes Peaster Bartlett, age 91, of Montezuma, GA, passed away Friday morning, January 23, 2009 at the Flint River Hospital in Montezuma.

Funeral services were held at 11 A.M. Monday, January 26,2009 at Cedar Valley Baptist Church in Montezuma with Rev. Michael Truitt officiating. Interment followed in the Felton Cemetery in Montezuma.

She was born on January 8, 1918 in Macon County, GA to the late Robert M. Peaster and Fannie Pearl Whittington Peaster. She was a homemaker and a faithful member of Cedar Valley Baptist Church. She worked for many years at Forest Mills. She was predeceased by her husband, Herman Bartlett and two sons, Joel Mack Bartlett and Robert Lewis Bartlett.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Jack and Barbara Bartlett of Montezuma, GA; daughter-in-law, Linda Bartlett of Ocala, FL; four grandchildren, Jennifer and Ken Rafferty of Hinesville, GA, Amy Bartlett of Pittsfield, Massachusetts, Ronnie Bartlett of Cordele, GA and Chad Bartlett of Ocala, FL and ten great grandchildren; sister, Kathleen Peavy of Montezuma, GA and a sister-in-law, Helen Peaster of Montezuma, GA.

Contributions may be made to Cedar Valley Baptist Church or to your favorite charity in honor of Mrs. Bartlett.
