Gloria Nemec (nee Barton) died peacefully on Tuesday at home with her loving family by her side.
Born on Staten Island, she was a longtime resident of Bayonne. In early years, Mrs. Nemec worked for the Medical Office of Dr. Frommer as a medical secretary and later worked as a bookkeeper at the Staten Island Zoo for several years. She was a long time parishioner and active member of Bergen Point Community Church in Bayonne. Surviving are her step-son George, Jr. and his wife Michele Nemec of Bordentown Twp.; two grandchildren Galiena Rae of Erie, PA, Heather Park of Burlington City, NJ and seven great-grandchildren, nephews Gary and his wife Brenda Barton of Staten Island, NY, Edward and his wife Mary Barton of Lawson, CO and many other nieces, nephews and cousins.
