Mrs. June V. (Barton) Barriere, 42 of 1085 Stafford St., died in City Hospital where she had been a patient for seven weeks. She was the wife of Omer J. Barriere.

She was born in Auburn, daughter of Luke S. and the late Minnie (Volker) Barton, and lived in Rochdale 13 years.

Beside her husband and her father, of Worcester, at the time of her death she left seven sons, Omer J. Jr., David L., Richard L., Robert A., John, Francis A., and Ronald Barriere; two daughters, Mary and Susan Barriere, all of Rochdale; a brother, Paul Barton of Westboro, and a sister, Miss Mary Barton of Worcester.

The funeral was held from the Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home, 12 Hammond St., Worcester, with a High Mass in St. Aloysius Church, Rochdale. Burial was in Notre Dame Cemetery, Worcester. Calling hours were held at the funeral home.
