Mrs. Ida Basie of West Bergen place, wife of James Basie, died Tuesday night at
Riverview hospital. She was 63 years old.
Surviving, besides her husband, are two sisters, Mrs. Cornelius Owens of Chester,
Pennsylvania, and Mrs. Willis Branch of Farmville, Virginia, and a brother, Watt
singleton of Chester, Pennsylvania.
The funeral will be held Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the African Methodist
Episcopal church with the pastor, Rev. O. G. Goodwin, officiating. Burial, in
charge of F. Leon Harris of Red Bank and Asbury park, will be in White Ridge
cemetery at Eatontown.
