Linda Basso 83, of Indianapolis, passed away on January 12, 2011. She was born on March 12, 1927 in Jasper, IN to Joseph Ell and Rose (Simmons) Zorn. She was a member of St. Gabriel the Archangel Church.

Linda is survived by her sons, Jack (Lori) and Bob (Terri) Basso; grandchildren, Craig and Barbie, Heather and Chris, Christopher, Jason and Mackenzie, Julie, Brandon, Christine, Samantha, Rebecca, Jessica, Samantha and John; and 18 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John E. Basso; brother, Bud Ell; and sister, Katherine Ell.

Friends may call from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Monday, January 17 at G. H. Herrmann Madison Avenue Funeral Home, 5141 Madison Avenue. Prayers will be conducted at 9:45 am on Tuesday, January 18 at the funeral home, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am at St. Gabriel the Archangel Church, 6000 W. 34th Street. Linda will be laid to rest in Calvary Cemetery.
