St., died yesterday afternoon at
Elyria Memorial Hospital after
a short illness.
Mrs. Bara was born in Halmi,
Gzatmar, Megye (county)
Hungary, Jan. 4,1892, and lived
in Elyria 68 years.
She was a charter member of
Magyar United Church of
Christ and of the Woman's Circle
of the church, and a charter
member also of Elyria Air
Force Mothers. ,
She is survived by one daughter,
Ethel of Elyria; four sons,
Steve Bara of Wellington; Aladar
Bara and Dr. John Bara,
both of Elyria; and Richard
Bara of San Francisco, Calif.;
a foster son, Edward Erdei of
Norfolk, Va., and 12 grandchildren,
13 great-grandchildren
and two brothers, Valentine
Bathory of Elyria and Ben
Bathory of North Olmsted.
Her husband, Joseph, died in _
1957, and she was also preceded '
in death by a son, Joseph Jr.
Friends will be received today
from 7 to 9 and tomorrow
from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the
Bittner-DeCarlo Funeral Home
where a prayer service will be
held tomorrow at 8:15 p.m.
Funeral services will be Friday
at 10 a.m. in Magyar United
Church of Christ with the
Rev. Tibor Petroczy, pastor,
officiating.
Burial will be in Ridge Hill
Memorial Park, Lorain.
