Roland W. Batten, 79,of Pine Hill died on April 11, 2013. Beloved husband for more than fifty-five years to Genevieve I. (nee Alderfer) Batten. Roland was a member of the Holy Communion Lutheran Church for over 50 years.
He attended the Antonelli School of Photography in Philadelphia and was employed for many years as a Printing Specialist for the U.S. Government Printing Office in Southampton, Pa. He had an interest in the history of magic and attended many magic conventions. He was an avid traveler, visiting many destinations in the Caribbean and within the United States. Roland was a big fan of the Philadelphia Phillies.
