Edith Battistone passed away on January 19, 2013, just before her 88th birthday.
She was predeceased by her parents Charles and Agnes Bath, five brothers and four sisters.
Edith is survived by her husband Fred, of 66 years, sisters Hazel Foote and Beatrice Battistone, sister-in-law Hazel Baerg and numerous nieces and nephews.
Edith was born and raised in Pritchard, BC. She and Fred lived in Kamloops,Barriere,Heffley Creek,Chase and finally in the Hamlets in Westsyde. Edith worked a few years at the Bay and Woolworth`s in Kamloops.
We wish to thank all the staff at the Hamlets and the doctors,nurses and caring people at Royal Inland Hospital for the help and care she received. Everyone was so kind and compassionate to Edith and all her family who were able to visit her.
There will be a Celebration of Life Tea at the Hamlets, 3255 Overlander Drive (Westsyde), Kamloops, BC on Saturday, February 23, 2013 from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
