Henry H. Bausell Dies Here Suddenly
Henry H. Bausell, 52, died suddenly last Wednesday of a heart attack while visiting at the home of his wife's parents, Mr. and Mrs. M. T. Wallace of Cleveland. A member of Lebanon's Town Council, he had been employed by the Budley Burns Furniture Store for several years.
Mr. Bausell was the son of the late William T. and Ellen Banner Bausell. Mr. Bausell would have completed his first two-year term as a member of council this August. He had been re-elected in June for a second term beginning Sept. 1st. Except for a few years of employment in Pulaski, Va., he had lived in Lebanon his entire life.
He served with the United States Navy during World War II and was a member of the Lebanon Masonic Lodge No. 251.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Katie Wallace Bausell, Lebanon; two sons, Richard Bausell Greenville, Tenn., Larry Bausell, Lebanon; one brother, Harold Bausell, one sister, Mrs. J. J. Harris, both of Lebanon.
Funeral services were conducted from the Lebanon Methodist Church Friday afternoon at 3 p.m. with Rev Malcolm Doubles, Rev. W. L. Odum and Rev. James Shugart officiating.
Graveside rites were conducted by members of the Masonic Lodge. Interment was in West Hill Cemetery.
