Mrs. George Bacon, Jr., Fatally Burned
Soon after midnight Monday morning Mrs. George Bacon, Jr., died in the Medina hospital where she was taken at 9 o'clock Sunday night following the discovery by her husband of her burning body at their home in the English settlement.
Mr. Bacon left his wife alone for a few minutes while he was on an errand. On his return he was horrified to find her in an unconscious condition with flames enveloping her clothing. She was immediately rushed to the hospital where she was attended by Drs. Rogan and Turner. Her arms, back and chest were frightfully burned.
Deceased was about 30 years of age. The exact details of the accident are unknown. The hospital authorities state that she was subject to epileptic attacks, and in some way overturned a lamp, the fire communicating to her clothing.
