Beatrice R. Bay, 85, of Muncy, died Friday, Sept. 30, 2011, at Sycamore Manor, Montoursville.

Born Nov. 29, 1925, in Pennsdale, she was a daughter of the late Narber P. and Beatrice Robb Fry. She and her husband, LaRue S. Bay, celebrated 63 years of marriage on March 17, 2011.

Beatrice was a member of Bethany United Methodist Church, Hughesville. She was a very loving, caring and generous individual. She never complained of any of life's challenges, but worked hard to overcome them. Beatrice was always very family-oriented and cherished the times the family could all be together. She especially looked forward to the grandchildren and great-grandchildren's visits.

Beatrice enjoyed cooking, baking, gardening, bird watching and word searches. She also enjoyed singing hymns, listening to country music and playing the piano. She also had a wonderful sense of humor which was often admired and will be greatly missed.

Surviving in addition to her husband are two sons, David L. (Tami) Bay, of Danvers, Mass. and Donald E. (Crystal) Bay, of Montoursville; four daughters, Linda M. (Kenneth) Ferry, of Selinsgrove, Phyllis I. (Larry) Watson, of Apalachin, N.Y., Donna L. (Bruce) Talisesky, of Elysburg and Jo Ann C.
