Mrs. Elizabeth Adamson, aged 88 years and 4 months, died at her home in Rogersville at 6 o'clock Monday morning. Death was attributed to complications and old age.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James K. Adamson, who died about 21 years ago. She is survived by a son and a daughter, Mrs. C. F. Wood, of Waynesburg, and Albert Bayard Adamson, with whom she resided in Rogersville.
Mrs. Adamson was a member of the Christian Church for a period of 65 years, and always worked in the interest of the church. She was also a member of the American Legion Auxillary, James Farrel Post No. 330.
She was born near Holbrook, and following her marriage moved to Rogersville where she spent the rest of her life.
Private funerals services will be held at her home on Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock, in charge of Rev. E. M. Oakes, of the Christian Church. Interment will be in the Rosemont Cemetery.
