She died suddenly of heart trouble on April 5. Aged about 25 yrs. She had been suffering for some time past, but a few weeks prior to her death she had improved so rapidly that hopes were entertained for her recovery. After eating a hearty dinner, she fell off the couch on which she was reclining and when raised up she had passed away. She is survived by her husband and a little son about a month old.

(Elvira had a son, Howard Bayne, Jr. on Feb. 19, 1908 in Imperial, PA. Howard was then 1 ½ months old. Howard, Jr. was considered a foster son to Mary Amanda "Manda" McElhaney White. (Elvira's sister). Howard, Sr. had moved on to California. Howard, Jr. and Manda are buried in Venango Co., PA. )
