Charles L. Bayne, 88, of Plum, died Tues., March 15, 2011. Born July 2, 1922 in Harmarville to Andrew & Hazel (Crawford) Bayne. U.S. Army, 82nd Airborne, WWII veteran. He was a member of the Penn Brotherhood Masonic Lodge #635; the Carpenter's Union Local 211; the NRA, and a retired deputy Game Warden. He was a Union Carpenter. Survived by wife of 66 years, Mary A. (Taylor) Bayne, of Plum; children: Merri Ann Testa, of Mississippi; Charles Lewis Bayne, Jr. of Hawaii and Dennis R. (Janet M.) Bayne, of Plum; 4 grandchildren; and brother, Donald Bayne, of North Washington. Predeceased by siblings. Dolence Funeral Home, Plum Boro. Burial, National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.
