Alfred worked at the Santa Fé County Detention Center as a Correctional Officer.
Alfred was preceded in death by his great-grandmother, María Rita Gonzáles and grandmother, Virginia Bazán.
Alfred is survived by his wife, Lisa Bazán of Ribera, NM, three children, Emily, Veronica and Rebeka Bazán all of Ribera, NM, mother, Marsha Sánchez, father, Alfred Bazán Sr., both of Ribera, NM, mother-in-law and father-in-law, Joe and Lucia Quintana of El Coruco, NM, grandparents, Pat and Mary Sánchez of San Juan, NM, Locario and Corrine Hurtado of El Coruco, NM, brothers and sisters, Johnny Sánchez (Jessica) of Ribera, NM, Debra Bazán (Andy) of San Juan, NM, Ryan Bazán (Shantel) of Ribera, NM, John Trujillo of Las Vegas, NM, sisters-in-law, Ashley Jaramillo (Jody) of Raton, NM, Elina Quintana of El Coruco, NM, brother-in-law, José Quintana of El Coruco, NM, special nieces and nephews, Mika, Joaquin, Lorenzo and Myra and numerous aunts, uncles and friends.
Rosary services will be conducted on Tuesday, May 7, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Las Vegas, NM. Funeral Services will be conducted on Wednesday, May 8, 2013 at 9:00 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with Father George V. Salazar as Celebrant. Interment will follow at San Miguel Cemetery in San Miguel, New Mexico with the following serving as Casket Bearers, Johnny Sánchez, Ryan Bazán, Josh Mawrence, Joe Quintana, Bobby Zamora and Adam Gallegos. Serving as Honorary Bearers will be Debra Bazán, Ashley Jaramillo, Elina Quintana and José Quintana. Visitation will be held on Monday, May 6, 2013 at Rogers Mortuary Chapel from 10:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
