GALENA, Ill. - Florence A. Bautsch, 84, 615 S. High St., Galena, died Thursday, Nov. 21, 1996, at Mercy Health Center St. Joseph's Unit, Dubuque.
Services will be at 11:30 a.m. Monday at St. Michael's Catholic Church, Galena, with burial in the church cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Furlong Funeral Chapel, Galena, where there will be a parish rosary at 7:30 p.m.
Mrs. Bautsch was a homemaker and worked at Eaton Corp., Hanover, retiring in 1974.
She was born on May 12, 1912, in Galena, daughter of William B. and Wilhelmina (Heller) Beadle. She married Henry Bautsch on Sept. 27, 1938, in Galena. She spent all of her life in the Galena area.
Surviving are two daughters, Sharon (Jerry) Wachter, of Galena, and Karen (Dennis) Carthew, of Portage, Wis.; three sons, Robert Bautsch, James (Jean) Bautsch and Kenneth (Rhonda) Bautsch, all of Galena; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; a brother, Thomas "Pat" (Irene) Beadle, of Galena; five sisters, Francis Murphy, Vera Wienen and Joan Foecking, all of Galena, Catherine Seelye, of Harvard, and Lucille Rusboldt, of Michigan City, Ind.; a sister-in-law, Mrs. Joan Beadle, of Galena; and a brother-in-law, Sam Armstrong.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Bautsch, on July 4, 1982; two sisters, Virginia Armstrong and Helen Petitgoue; and two brothers, Donald Beadle and William Beadle Jr.
